Description
The middle child of the all solid Kala Acacia family! Acacia is similar in character to Koa, so on the brighter side of the spectrum. The sound is very clear, with plenty of volume, and lovely sustain, typical of all solid wood instruments: cheaper laminates can sound a little muddy by comparison. The tone, volume and sustain has been improved with the addition of black NuBone nuts and saddles, which as a very hard material allows for greater vibrations which go on for longer. The sustain is that much more impressive and the dynamic range greater than it used to be.
