With the Tornado kits, you are getting a kit that is priced affordably for beginner drummers, yet takes its core features and playability from the Mapex name. That is big, tight sounds that will cut through a mix in the band, and sound punchy and exciting in isolation.
The Tornado kits come with a snare, hi-hats, crash/ride cymbal and a doubled braced hardware pack so you are ready to rock!

Tornado kits are manufactured exclusively in our own wholly owned drum production facility, and built to a level of quality only our state of the art machinery, highly trained staff and expert production techniques can guarantee. Our drum factory is one of the only facilities of its kind in the world to have achieved ISO9001 certification, the worlds standard for manufacturing excellence.
Tornado drum shells are made from hand selected basswood ply's and all kits feature ball and socket tom holders for ultimate positioning and double braced hardware throughout.
All Tornado kits also include a matching wood shell snare drum and are shipped with Hi Hat and Crash/ Ride.
Tornado is supplied in durable, high quality Black and Burgundy wrap finishes.
Featuring a 14x5.5 snare, 10x9 and 12x10 rack toms and a booming 16x16 floor tom, this kit is finished with a 22x18 kick that stands it's ground in any live situation.
Complimented with a full set of double braced hardware, the kit is ready to head from rehearsal to show and back home time and time again, standing you in good stead as a busy musician.
What's more, each Tornado kit is supplied with a 2pce cymbal set, Hi Hat & Crash/Ride to ensure it can be played straight out of the box!
