Tanglewood TWJF Java with striking exotic tonewoods
An orchestra or folk guitar sized body is a little bit smaller that a dreadnought. It has a more compact look and feel. To ensure a rich and warm tone the Tanglewood TWJF Java has a solid cedar top. Flip the guitar round to look at the back and you will be surprised. Amara and Spalted Mango have been used to create a stunning back design. It looks spectacular. Especially when you factor in the low price of this folk guitar. Amara has also been used for the sides. Sonokeling is another wood that is not often seen in guitar building. It looks quite similar to rosewood. This has been used for the fingerboard and bridge. The fretboard has been fixed to a nato neck. Mahogany binding around the body looks classy but not over the top. The body and back of the neck on the Tanglewood TWJF has been given a high gloss finish.
